Once I register a domain, do I own the name?
Yes – However all domain names must be renewed every year otherwise a name may be lost to another person or company. To avoid this, at the time of purchase you have the option of registering the
domain for a consecutive term of up to five years.

How long can a domain name be?
Domains may be up to 63 characters long including the characters used to identify the Top Level Domain (.com, .org, .net, .info, .biz, .ca, .co.uk, .co.ke)

What are the valid characters for a domain?

• Letters [a b c d ...]
• Numbers [ 1 2 3 4 …]
• Hyphen [ -]

Characters that are not valid in a domain are:
• underscore [_]
