Thika
Institute of Technology is located within Thika Town, 45 KM
from Nairobi, away from the usual hustle and bustle of a capital
city. The Institute is the biggest private training institution
in the larger Central Province and one of the only few sanctioned
to continue offering medical laboratory and pharmaceutical technology
courses.
The Institute has 3 campuses. The town campus houses Human Resources
Development, Management and Information Technology courses while
the main campus, located in a good learning environment near
the Kenya National Library Services, houses the administrative
offices and Applied Science courses. Juja Farm campus houses
the animal husbandry courses.
Thika town also has tourist and commercial attractions. These
include Chania falls, Fourteen falls, Mt. Kilimambogo and one
of the World's largest Pineapple growing farm Cirio Delmonte
